GL pulled their show out of the tar pits by giving it a strong soap story featuring characters that are anything but cliche dinosaurs. Doris is a giant part of that new focus on moving the storytelling forward. They took what some might call a one dimensional character and with one stroke of genius made her not only three dimensional but vastly important to the GL landscape. And they did it all with a hat and a little heart. Look out Batwoman - here comes Doris - the latest Otalia Anvil of love!
