Carrie Prejean: Still Standing, And Of Course, Still Talking

If laughter is the best medicine, then call 911, I’ve OD’d.  Former beauty queen, Carrie Prejean, is again hitting the airwaves pimping her new pop-up book and attempting to pray away the tape.  The royal heinous is performing the mea culpa in regards to a personal sex tape that recently surfaced.  Now, to be fair, she doesn’t consider the video a “sex” tape since she was by herself.  For those of you who just spit your coffee across your laptop, I will give you a minute to wipe the screen.  Is she THAT dumb or just thinks we are?  Singular sex can be accomplished with quite satisfying results, and it can be performed regardless of political ideology.  It’s just my opinion that when it comes to her personal testimony, the bible is probably not all that’s being thumped here.

I watched Prejean, with TODAY’s Meredith Vieira, play the silenced victim of what she believes to be a prosecutorial, liberal media.  Seems like someone has read the urban dictionary to our attention grabbing friend as she believes she has been “Palinized” or attacked for her conservative beliefs.  Carrie, don’t you get it?  Wait, what am I saying, of course you don’t.  Sarah Palin was aptly criticized because she was intellectually ill-prepared to be Vice President, not because she was a conservative.  She was a self-proclaimed barracuda that when filleted turn out to be all teeth and no meat.

Prejean continued to blame the liberal media for unfair forays into her personal life.  She pronounced that if Sean Hannity, that bastion of the fair and balanced broadcast, had treated Michelle Obama or Sonya Sotomayor as she had been treated, he would have been certainly called out.  Now Michelle Obama and Justice Sotomayor cast shadows at noon with more depth than the former Miss California and need little defense from me, but let’s take a look at that statement regarding Mr. Hannity.  Perhaps Carrie was at a Mensa meeting when Sean Hannity publicly called Justice Sotomayor a racist or when he accused Michelle Obama of political cronyism and hating her country.

Bottom line, Carrie, I would never try to silence you.  I want you to keep talking about your disdain for publicity all the while showing up on every hot set with a cool camera.  Please, condemn pornography and publicly proselytize your body as a sacred temple but then she-bop for the world wide web.  Continue to decry your lack of privacy all the while returning with a book for another fifteen minutes.  You may be “Still Standing”, but mostly, you’re still talking, and that’s job security for me.

See I think Carrie needs to understand – it’s not that I care that she doesn’t believe I should have rights. What I do care about is her having those conservative ideas, standing on her high horse, looking down on the rest of the world… hypocrisy much Carrie!

And don’t get your handlers to book you on Larry King and then want to storm off when you find out he wants to talk about the issue at hand and you have to take calls (It’s LARRY KING… that’s why they booked you on it!)
