A very good picture bravo for having the courage to stand in front of a camera. I always felt the CA gay community shot themselves in the foot when they asked the CA Supreme Court to intervene when the majority already having voted the first time around on gay marriage (which they said no to). Prop 8 was a direct result of these actions, when the court ruled that proposition 22 was unconstitutional, the people of CA voted but this time adding to define what marriage was; why not just wait for another election cycle bring gay marriage up as a proposition on the ballet again, it would have passed here in CA. The majority’s vote must not be circumvented or risk more extreme result (like prop 8). So in this respect the court had taken away the rights of the majority vote why should a few men in black have such a say into the majority after they have voted.

I do agree with you that marriage between consenting adults should be recognized at the federal level, simply because every American has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness these are the rights given to us by our constitution and guess what they do not cause a hardship/burden to anybody else. What the CA gay community needs is a good constitutional lawyer. L
